An easy place to begin looking for information on queer, Trans, and feminist thinking is the internet! Because the internet makes it possible for anyone to cheaply and easily publish their ideas, this is another medium for maginalized communities to share their ideas and experiences. Lots of blogs and online newspapers focus on LGBTQIA+ and feminist topics, so it is simply a matter of sorting through them to find the ones that speak to you. To get you started, here are a few of the bigger platforms that center queer, Trans, and femme experiences.

  • The Advocate is a bi-monthly magazine published both in print and online primarily on social and political issues impacting the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Out Magazine is an online and print magazine focusing on queer politics, culture, lifestyle, fashion, and entertainment.
  • Everyday Feminism is a queer and Trans inclusive online feminism blog that discusses social issues from a feminist lens. Articles include discussions of sexuality, body positivity, LGBTQIA+ issues, race, religion, and more.
  • genderqueer.me is an inactive blog that documented the experiences of a non-binary individual as they transition.
  • LGBTQ Nation is an online news magazine that focuses on LGBTQIA+ news, politics, health, and life.
  • asexuals.net is an ace and aro focused dating site, but they also have a blog that focuses on education and issues impacting the asexual and aromantic communities.
