PUL Makerspace is a member of MakeNet, a consortium of creative technology spaces across the university that work together to better support Princeton's maker community. MakeNet manages an online Discord Server for students, staff, faculty, and alumni who make things and want to talk about making things.


Share your projects, ask for help, offer help, and find inspiration. Find out about on-campus jobs, summer internships, and other opportunities. Browse tools, services, workshops, and policies of each participating lab space.


Welcome to the PUL Makerspace! This is the PUL Makerspace Resource Guide. Use this guide to learn about the equipment available at the PUL Makerspace, software you can use to get started, and for inspiration on projects.

How to use the space

  • Make an appointment with a Makerspace Student Consultant to operate equipment or for a virtual consultation. 
  • 3d prints, poster prints, and vinyl cutter requests can be submitted online. Completed prints and cuts can be picked up from the Makerspace.
  • To use Video Production Room (equipment not provided) or VR Room (equipment not provided) during regular Library Hours please make a Seats Reservation.
  • Want to take something back to your room? Check out the Tools and Technology Library.
