Access and Use

The PUL Makerspace cutting plotter is free to Princeton University students, faculty, and staff.

To use the cutting plotter, training is required. Sign up for a training here. 

We use Canvas for our cutting plotter training. You may self-enroll in our Canvas course using this link.

Cutting Plotter Guidelines

To use the cutting plotter, you must complete a one-time training sessionSign up for a training here. 

You must make a reservation to use the cutting plotter.

You may only use the cutting plotter when trained Makerspace staff is present.

You must stay with the cutting plotter at all times while you are using it. 

You must abide by copyright and trademark laws.

Our printers may not be used for mass production or commercial use.

Important safety tip: Never touch the blade or the cutting head while the system is cutting.
