About Makerspace Resources

Information about equipment available in the PUL Makerspace, how to get started, software to use, and links for project ideas.

Build & Play

Tools and toys in the Build & Play Collection are available for drop-in use and are housed in open areas. These items are easy-to-use creative tools and materials such as modeling clay, stackable blocks, and tactile aids, like the following:

  • Button makers (two sizes: 32 mm and 58 mm)*
  • K'nex and Lego Classic
  • model magic clay
  • MakeyMakey
  • kinetic sand and zen garden
  • ...and more!

*Please note that we do not supply materials for mass producton of buttons. If making more than a handful of buttons, you may provide your own button materials and use our button makers to assemble.

Access and Use

The Build & Play area is free to Princeton University students, faculty, and staff on a drop-in basis.

Build & Play Guidelines

Tools & materials must stay in the Makerspace.

Notify Makerspace staff if materials are running low.

We do not supply materials for mass producton of buttons. If making more than a handful of buttons, you may provide your own button materials and use our button makers to assemble.
