Civil and Environmental Engineering Research Guide

A quick introduction to the library services and collections for Civil and Environmental Engineering students.

The Engineering Library

The Engineering Library located in a newly renovated space on the A floor of Fine Hall adjacent to the Lewis Library supports research and teaching activities of CEE. The library holds print materials but most resources are available online and accessible through the Main Library web site.

Getting what you need

CEE Students: Welcome to the Architecture Library!

Should your projects take you in the directions of design, sustainability, urban or regional planning, and the built environment, the Architecture Library may have what you need. Contact Architecture Librarian Gabriella Karl-Johnson (gjk@Princeton.edu) with any questions about the Architecture Library's collections, with purchase requests and recommendations, and if you need any assistance with your research.

Engineering Research Consultations

Contact Willow Dressel (wdressel@princeton.edu) or schedule an appointment online to arrange for a research consultation if you need help locating materials for your paper, project or thesis. Before we meet to work on your topic, please make sure that you send me the following information:

1. In a sentence or two, describe your research topic.

2. What materials (if any) have you collected so far?

3. Please give me an example of a relevant book, article or paper that you found so far or that was recommended by your advisor.

4. What library resources have you searched (if any)?

Zoom Office Hours are available Fridays from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
