The Library has services available to help when materials are not available on site at Princeton!
Borrow Direct: A rapid, patron-initiated borrowing and lending service offered by Princeton University Library and our partner libraries (Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard, Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale). Visit Borrow Direct's home page for more info about this service.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL): Place requests to borrow books, journals, obtain copies of articles, chapters of books, film, music and countless other types of material, via a huge range of global institutions. This service is much broader in what it obtains for students than Borrow Direct but it is not a rapid delivery service. Click here for more info on ILL.
