LGBTQIA Periodical and Ephemera Collection

The process of describing the LGBTQIA periodical and ephemera collection led Princeton University Library (PUL) staff to recognize the need for more inclusive description in our cataloging practice for materials concerning the LGBTQIA+ community. As a result, PUL has adopted the use of the Homosaurus, a specialized vocabulary for describing LGBTQIA+ materials in libraries, archives, museums, and other cultural institutions.
