LGBTQIA Periodical and Ephemera Collection

This collection is comprised of LGBTQIA materials including: periodicals, magazines, ephemera and monographs. The collection is international in scope, largely concentrated from the 1950's to the early 2000's.

Requesting Boxes

Requesting Boxes Through the Library Catalog:

The LGBTQIA periodical and ephemera collection is arranged and stored as a "box collection". This means that each box of materials has an individual catalog record. To request a box from the collection follow these steps: 

After navigating to a boxes catalog record, scroll down and you will see a blue "reading room request" button.

Clicking on this link will bring you to another page where you will login to your special collections research account using your Princeton NetID and password.

On the request page most fields will be pre-filled. You can specify the boxes that you would like to request in the Volume/Box Number(s) field. 

Selecting your Box

At the bottom of the page you can request a specific pick up date and click the blue "submit request" button to make your request.
