A guide to conducting research at Princeton University Libraries

Where to Start

The best starting point for accessing Library resources at Princeton University is the Library Homepage. From there, click on Catalog to look for books, Articles+ for a general article search, and Databases to access subject-specific resources. In addition, Princeton Libraries provides subject Research Guides to help you begin your research, including guides for Public Policy and Indigenous Studies

In addition, Princeton University Libraries has many subject specialists to help with your research, including Ameet Doshi, the Public Policy Librarian; Joann Donatiello, the SFIS group's library liaison;  and Anu Vedantham, the Indigenous Studies Librarian. Ameet and Joann are based at Stokes Library in Wallace Hall. Anu is based at Firestone Library, the main library for the social sciences.

Along with Firestone and Stokes, Princeton has numerous other branch libraries and collections on campus. Use your dormitory card to enter buildings and libraries.
