Sacred Texts in English Translation

To see the list of religions with guides to sacred texts in English translation, hover over the "Sacred Texts" tab. Some of the pages are very long (I'm looking at you, Buddhism!), so I decided to break the lists down by religion.

This set of pages points to reliable English translations of the sacred texts of Hinduism, Buddhism, Daoism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. A few of these texts are available online. Most of them are in print and all are available through the Princeton University Library. Locations, call numbers, and links to the SearchIt Books+ catalog are included.

If you have any suggestions for other translations to include, for either the religions already covered or others, please let me know and I will add them.
