Conditional Formatting

Conditional formatting refers to Excel functionality to change formatting of a value, cell, or range based on set of defined conditions.

  1. Select the cells in your target range.
  2. Click the Home tab and select Conditional Formatting > New Rule
  3. In the dialog box, click the option called "Use a formula to determine which cells to format"
  4. In the formula input box, enter the formula you;s like to use, e.g., =F2 < 0.29
  5. Click the Format button to choose your desired formatting > Click OK
  6. Click OK again to confirm your formatting rule in the New Formatting Rule dialog box
