Anthropology Library Research Guide

Find a Journal with Similar Topics Manually

To "manually" locate a journal in which to publish your article:

  1. Search Google Scholar, Web of ScienceSubject-specific databases, or bibliographies.
  2. Identify recent, scholarly articles as close to the topic of your article as possible.
  3. Consider submission to those journals.

Use a Journal Finder or Matcher

For a more automatic approach, search the following journal finders with your title and abstract, then examine the resulting journals for articles with similar topics, methodologies, etc. to your article. The more specific and focused your abstract, the better the results will be.
