The CHNS Individual Education Master File contains information regarding education attained by survey individuals. As a longitudinal file, it contains multiple years of data for each individual. An individual can have from 1 to 9 years of data as designated by the WAVE variable, which contains the survey years, 1989 to 2011.This file consolidates individual education data from 13 survey files.
**World Values Survey: Wave 1(1981-1984), Wave 2(1990-1994), Wave 3(1995-1998), Wave 4(1999-2004), Wave 5(2005-2009), Wave 6(2010-2014) and longitudinal data available. Each Wave includes education-related questions; use the WVS Online Data Analysis tool to explore. China was included in: 1990, 1995, 2001, 2007, and 2012.
