Peer Library Advisers

Details for the Princeton University Library's Peer Library Adviser (PLA) program.

Basics

The Peer Library Adviser (PLA) program launched in August 2022. The PLAs are part of the Peer Advisers program in the Office of the Dean of the College. The PLAs help represent library services to other students by organizing events, sharing resources and reducing barriers to participation. The PLAs actively engage with library staff and provide feedback and suggestions for program improvement.

Favorite Library Services and Spaces for our PLAs:

Hannah: "My favorite library service is a combination of multiple services: ReCAP, database searching, and consulting with the librarians to find sources on Indigenous studies that are long lost or very rare."

Elizabeth: "Firestone (specifically the 3rd Floor Reading Room)"

Elise: "I love to study in the room on the sixth floor of Firestone. It's bright, cheery, and has a great view of campus!"
