Engineering Library Tools and Technology Collection: Home

About the Collection

The Engineering Library Tools and Technology Lending program makes a variety of equipment available to members of the Princeton University community, providing access to items which might not otherwise be available or might be restricted to classroom or laboratory use. The goal of the collection is to encourage object based learning in the Engineering disciplines and provide tools and equipment to help conceptualize, create, and present research and teaching.

Equipment can be checked out from Engineering Library Staff during the following hours:

  • Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:45 pm.
  • Summer hours are 8:30 am - 4:15 pm.

Equipment generally needed at the last minute can be checked out any time the library is open. These include:

  • Laptop chargers
  • Adapters and dongles
  • Graphing Calculator

The Tools and Technology collection is available to Princeton University faculty, students, and staff. A lending agreement is required for high cost items or items with a large number of different pieces. Users are responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items whether a lending agreement is signed or not.
