Greek Art & Archaeology: Finding Books

General information on doing research in this area at Princeton.

Non-Circulating Collection

Marquand is a non-circulating library, which means
that no books or journals may leave the library,
but may be charged to assigned shelves for eligible patrons inside the West Atrium in Firestone Library, C Floor. Otherwise, books will be held for patrons after requested and delivered to the Scribner Library Atrium in Firestone Library, C Floor. This includes Marquand's collection (formerly in McCormick Hall and temporarily stored in Upstate NY) and items located off of Route 1 at the ReCAP facility indicated with "ReCAP - Marquand Library Use Only."

Library Catalog

Starting with the library catalog is your best bet to determine what Princeton has in its 9 separate campus libraries. See the Course Reserves link at the upper right to see what physical books are on reserve in Marquand for your course.

General searching tips. If you are searching for a known item, search by Keyword (can include title word, author name, and/or publisher name, etc.), or Title Starts with. If you are looking for an exhibition catalog from a particular museum, use the Advanced Search, enter the museum name as Author/Creator and enter a keyword of your choice.
