More information from Mendeley.

Mendeley at Princeton

Mendeley is not officially supported by Princeton University Libraries. Licensing or tutorial information are not available on a formal basis from the library.

Mendeley and Google Docs

Mendeley does not support Google Docs. You can not use Mendeley to insert formatted in text citations in to Google Docs.

There are two ways to create a bibliography using the Mendeley desktop.

  • Highlight a reference in Mendeley, then drag and drop it on to Google Docs.
  • Copy and paste, either right click or in the Edit menu click Copy. With this technique you can hold shift to select multiple references for your bibliography.
