Work Stoppages (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics)

Statistics on the number of incidents involving 1,000+ workers, days of idleness, and workers monthly back to 1981 and annually back to 1947. Each month the program publishes current figures, taken from the Current Employment Statistics Survey, in Strike Report.

Also, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service offers continuing and ended work stoppages data (from the main menu bar, select "Resources," then "Documents and Data").
