Citation tracking in Web of Science: Most Cited

This guide will give you a short introduction to Web of Science and show you some ways to view and track your personal publications.

Searching

To find the most cited article on a given topic, choose a search term that accurately describes the topic in question. Be as specific as possible. In the example below, the quotations marks search for those words as an exact phrase and the capitalized And requires that only results with both terms be returned.

Most Cited

To view the most cited article, select Times cited - highest to lowest from the Sort by drop down menu.
