Rapid sharing of books and certain other materials among the Ivy League+ libraries. Request checked out, missing, or unowned books here. In the Library catalog, the "Request" feature on bibliographic records for unavailable books will open a Borrow Direct option, which in turn searches the Borrow Direct catalog for the item--from which you can proceed to request a copy from another library. If you are entering the Borrow Direct catalog directly, after clicking on the Borrow Direct link, enter your UNet ID and then key in a search for the book you need in the Borrow Direct catalog. Hint: use the advanced search option (link at top right of screen) rather than the basic search box to enter author or specific title information for a more precise and focused search.
The Borrow Direct libraries include Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, MIT, Stanford, the universities of Chicago & Pennsylvania, and Yale.
