At this time, Princeton University offers access to Microsoft Copilot and the AI tools offered though Adobe Cloud to Princeton University students, faculty, and staff.
Princeton Language and Intelligence (PLI)
PLI is an interdisciplinary group of Princeton faculty, postdocs, and researchers who study AI broadly across academic contexts using state of the art infrastructure. Unlike corporate labs, PLI researchers focus on questions about how AI transforms research and teaching across the disciplines, such as questions about sustainability, research methodologies, data processing (like brain imaging and DNA data), and aligning models with human needs and safety. AI for Accelerating Invention
Launched by Princeton's School of Engineering and Applied Science, the AI for Accelerating Invention initiative specializes in applying machine learning tools to study questions in the field of Engineering. Building on existing research on topics such as energy, medicine, computer hardware, and construction, this initiative explores how AI can enhance each step of technological innovation. It offers seed grants, postdoctoral positions, computing resources, training, and professional development.
AI Lab
The Princeton Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence (AI Lab) supports AI research by incubating AI-related projects from across all disciplines and creating shared research infrastructure, including staff, computational resources, funding, events, and informal and formal gatherings.
