Finding the full text of an article

There are a few options for locating the full text of an article:

ReadCube

ReadCube is a browser extension for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge (install instructions). Create an account and authenticate using your Princeton NetID. Once authenticated a side pane will pop up in your browser when the article full text is available in the library. 

  • 1-click access to PDFs 
  • Uses browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Does not require a subscription to ReadCube or Papers

Articles+

Articles+ is Princeton's one-stop search tool for locating scholarly articles. 

  • Type the title of the article into the search box
  • If the library has the full text of the article available you will see a link to the PDF
  • If the library does not have the full text available you will see a Find It @ PUL link that will take you to a request form. 

Article Express

ArticleExpress is the Library’s electronic document delivery service available to current members of the Princeton University community. Journal articles, book chapters or selections, conference proceedings papers, and newspaper articles are available through ArticleExpress. The service offers electronic delivery of these materials in the shortest possible time.
