Japanese section of the IVYPlus Covid-19 web archives aims to collect wide range of the websites and social medias from government agencies to individuals. The topics includes health and mental health, domestic violence and crime, culture, religion, care for seniors and Tokyo Olympic, etc.
However, we have tried avoiding duplicating work with the National Diet Library (NDL) of Japan’s Web Archiving Project (WARP) which has collected huge number of websites on COVID-19 published by government agencies, political parties, regional government, and research by academic institutions. These websites will be permanently archived by NDL. Our collection will have more resources from social media than websites, from smaller groups and individuals than the government.
