This database gives access to a selection of roughly 20,000 volumes of literary and historical materials that were collected and compiled in local offices around China from the late 1950s onward under the auspice of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The idea for the compilation of these historically important materials is regularly ascribed to former Premier Zhou Enlai. Access to part one is available.
