Senior Theses that were created in 2012 or earlier (i.e. those in paper or microfiche format) must be viewed in the Mudd Library Reading Room and they must be requested through the Princeton University Library Catalog.
Navigate to the Library Catalog
Now that you have found your thesis, request to view it at the Mudd Library (see below).
Click on the “Copies in Library” tab located on the right hand side of the screen
Then click the blue button that says “Reading Room Request”
You will be prompted to log in with your netID: (PU students, faculty and staff) or to create an account as a non-Princeton University Patron
Once you log-in, you will need to review and confirm you request. The bibliographic information will auto-populate to an electronic call slip
Review the information in the noted fields and click on the grey “Submit Request” button to add the request to your list
Come to Mudd Library to view the thesis in our reading room. No appointment is necessary. Laptop computers, digital cameras, and cell phones (camera use only) are permitted in the reading room; scanners, however, are not allowed. Bring your Princeton ID (non-affiliated patrons should bring a photo ID). For further information on visiting Mudd Library, please click here.
