The Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library is the central repository for Princeton University Senior Theses. You can search for a thesis in the Princeton University digital repository, DataSpace, for theses from 1924-Present. Theses from 1924-2012 are in paper format or are on microfiche and can only be viewed at the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library. Senior theses created in 2013 and later are in digital format (mainly PDFs) and are stored in DataSpace.
Members of the University community do not need to visit the Mudd Manuscript Library to view theses from 2014-present as they are accessible in full-text, digital format from any Princeton-networked computer.
Those outside of the University network and those requesting theses from 1924-2012 may request a digital copy of a thesis for a fee by completing the Senior Thesis Order Form. Please note, as of February 1, 2020, Mudd's digitization services have been paused due to an impending renovation. Requests for digitization can be made in June 2020.
All first time visitors of the Library, whether they visit in person or remotely, to register for a Special Collections Research Account. Please see the Before You Visit section of our website for information about traveling to Mudd Library.
