Methods of Authentication

IP Authentication

·       PU Wireless – Use PU Wireless to access electronic resources on campus via mobile devices.  Device registration is required.

·       EZProxy

·       Secure Remote Access (SRA)

Shibboleth – Princeton University is a member of the InCommon Federation.  If available, select U.S. Higher Education or InCommon Federation on the institutional login page.

Device Pairing – Device pairing connects your mobile device to the library's electronic subscriptions.  For most resources, you will be required to create a user account on campus and associate it with your mobile device.

User Accounts – User accounts created to customize search options, store search strategies and results, or set up RSS feeds may also be used to authenticate mobile access.

Password/Subscriber ID – If mobile access requires a password or subscriber ID, the required information will be provided on a secure page requiring a current Princeton University NetID/Password.
