General Information

Since the late 18th century, the United States Government has carried out a counting of its people and measured social and economic factors of its national life in the Decennial Census and other related censuses and surveys. At the beginning of the 21st century, social scientists rely on a treasure trove of data which has been gathered over the years by the U.S. Census for details of their population and national life.
