RSS (Really Simple Syndication) enables one to "subscribe" to frequently updated content on the Internet. In this Lunch n' Learn session I demonstrate innovative uses of this technology for scholarly (and leisurely) research.

Flickr RSS Feeds

Flickr

In Fickr, you can view the photographs of friends, family or strangers, subscribe to the photographs of a specific user with an RSS feed, and share your own photos. Flickr also allows you to subscribe to specific tags so that whenever a photograph is assigned that tag, the photo will appear in your rss reader. For more information on social tagging and folksonomies click here.

The following URL will allow you to subscribe to objects in Fickr tagged "princetonuniversity", copy and paste it into you feed reader:
