Introduction

Scope of General Science in Princeton University Library:

Princeton University has a science library, the Peter B. Lewis Library that holds the collections:

Astrophysics, Biology (Ecology and Evolutionary Biology & Molecular Biology), Chemistry, Geosciences, Mathematics and Physics.

The unification was completed by September, 2008.  Princeton University also has SEAS, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.  The Engineering Library is in the Friend Center, across Olden St. from the E-QUAD, and there is a Plasma Physics Library located on the Forrestal Campus as part of the U.S. DOE's Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory.  We do not have a medical or agricultural school, but we take pride in supplying any needs that arise from these disciplines.  PUL supports the Environmental Studies Program.  Lewis Library will eventually include the Psychology Library, currently located in Green Hall.
